a Uriel initiative
How does spiritual understanding derived from anthroposophy contribute to a well-lived life in 21st century Australia? How does this human wisdom help us to face our unique challenges, develop our personal gifts and contribute to the world with courage, confidence and compassion?
At the Something Else Studio we invite guests with a range of different backgrounds and life experience to help us respond to these questions. On the first Saturday of the month at 319 Auburn Road, Hawthorn, we will offer talks, conversations, performances and workshops from guests offering wisdom inspired by anthroposophy in a way that is approachable, relevant and open.
The Something Else Studio’ grew from Uriel talks offered since 2009 in Hawthorn. Artist, Ligsma Kirpe (1920-2013) invited speakers with an understanding of Rudolf Steiner’s philosophy known as anthroposophy, to make a connection with seasonal festivals and to explore urgent issues of our times
Our next guest on 7 December 2024, from 3pm at the Christian Community in Hawthorn is Tanya Coburn who will present a session on deep receptivity. You can read more about it here:
